Entertainment Announced: Live Music by Meez plus DJ Fredo on the Radio

September 16, 2024. Monterey, CA. Beer lovers, get ready! The 21st Annual Monterey Beer Festival is fast approaching in just a few weeks and promises to be better than ever, taking place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the beautiful Monterey County Fair & Event Center, located at 2004 Fairground Road in Monterey, CA. The festival will run from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with VIP ticket holders enjoying early access starting at 11:30 a.m. This year’s highly anticipated event is presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino. Thank you to Alvarado Street Brewery for bringing in lots of new breweries to sample and working with the Monterey County Fair Heritage Foundation.

Monterey Beer Festival advance discount tickets are now available at Eventbrite at https://conta.cc/3VoogNX, including the return of VIP Tickets with early admission at 11:30 am. General Admission Tickets are now available with admission at 12:30 pm. Tickets increase $5 for ticket purchases on October 5th and attendees will be able to buy tickets online until 2:00 p.m.

VIP Advance Discount Ticket Admission Price:  $80 ticket, get in one hour earlier! VIP Tasting begins at 11:30 AM!

Tickets are $85 at the gate on the day of the event if not sold out. Tickets will be on sale online as well until 2:00 pm on October 5th.

General Admission Advance Ticket Admission Price is $65, or tickets are available (if not sold out) for $70 at the gate which opens at 12:30 PM. Tickets will be on sale online until 2:00 pm on October 5th.

Designated Driver tickets are again available. Designated drivers bring someone to the Monterey Beer Festival for fun — but not the alcohol — to get you home safely for $25 per person. The Monterey Beer Festival encourages all patrons to drink responsibly.

Parking is available on Fairground Road.

All Ticket holders must be 21 and over and show a current ID.

All guests are asked to comply with the Clear Bag Policy. Please bring one bag that is clear and does not exceed 12″x6″x12″ OR a one-gallon zip lock bag.

About Meez: Calling Monterey County home, Meez performs original rock n roll that is melodic and groovy, at times progressive and always tight. Stylistically, their music ranges from Classic Rock to Alternative, reminiscent of Grungy Power Pop.

The band is comprised of four accomplished musicians who have dedicated a majority of their lives honing their skills. Each of their songs, composed by the members themselves, is different from the rest, yet somehow cohesive to the heartfelt message of love and compassion which pervades their repertoire. Catchy lyrics, vocal harmony, and inspiring musicianship combine to form a sound that is hard to resist.

The Monterey County Fair Heritage Foundation supports the functions of the Monterey County Fair & Event Center and its mission. Primarily, the Heritage foundation funds capital improvements at the Monterey County Fairgrounds and youth scholarships.
